Baxter here! This Monday (August 19) is the full moon in Aquarius. It is big and Blue. I helped Fluffy come up with a ritual for us to preform in his backyard. Don't let Fluffy know I found this as a prize in our morning box of Fluffy Snacks. It was on a QR code. Fluffy is including some advice in the ritual that draws inspiration from some of our friends who are dealing with extra stuff at the moment. We believe that this is the full moon energy recking havoc in our magical lives.

Remember to banish (or transmute) old and stagnant energy. Fluff put together a guide about this called "Who Heals The Healers?" It really does lessen the impact of celestial shenanigans in the lives of woofers and humans alike. Its a good PDF that has a lot of information and ties together science, magic, psychology and the power of the WOOF!

If you do not have a tarot card, find a deck of poker cards and pull one of those, then look up the meaning as a tarot. Any rock will work in place of a crystal. The imagination can be used to do the candle work. I personally imagine a rubber duck that has the flame on ability of Jonny Storm from the Fantastic Four. In place of a quartz crystal, I use one of Fluffy's old teeth that he had removed from way back when. The object used doesn't matter. It is the intention behind the object that contains the magic.

Full Moon in Aquarius, Blue Moon Ritual for Prosperity, Health, and Abundance

  1. Preparation:

    • Gather Supplies: Blue candle (Blue Moon), green candle (health), rose quartz (love and emotional balance), amethyst (clarity and protection), journal, pen, tarot deck, and essential oils such as lavender and chamomile for calming.

    • Create Sacred Space: Cleanse your space with sage or palo santo. Set up a comfortable area where you won't be disturbed.

    • Meditation: Begin with a calming meditation. Imagine a violet light surrounding you, clearing away any negative energy.

    • Lighting Candles: Light the blue and green candles. As you do, say aloud: "I invite prosperity, health, and abundance into my life. I release any blockages and open myself to positive energies."

    • Crystal Activation: Hold the rose quartz and amethyst in each hand. Visualize positive energy flowing into you from the crystals.

    • Drawing a Tarot Card: Shuffle your deck and draw a single card. Reflect on its meaning and how it applies to your current situation. For instance:

      • 3 of Swords: This card often represents heartbreak or emotional pain. Use this as a reminder to protect your emotional health and let go of past hurts.

      • 5 of Pentacles: This card can signify financial or physical struggles. Use it as an encouragement to seek support and focus on recovery and new opportunities.

  4. Connecting with Aquarius Energy:

    • Creative Visualization: Aquarius is innovative; visualize futuristic and creative solutions to your current challenges. Envision yourself thriving in various aspects of your life.

    • Gratitude and Release: Express gratitude for what you have. Release your excess energy by visualizing it grounding into the earth.

  5. Managing Unexpected Surprises:

    • Stay Calm: When unexpected challenges arise, take deep breaths and ground yourself. Use mindfulness techniques to stay centered.

    • Preventing Trouble: Keep a talisman or protective charm with you. Be aware and adaptable, ready to face challenges head-on without letting anxiety take over.

  6. Discharging Excess Energy:

    • Breathwork and Movement: Engage in regular breathwork or physical activities like yoga or walking to release pent-up energy.
